I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and came with a private pool, adding a tropical atmosphere, but I couldn't ignore the strong mold smell inside the unit. The facilities were impressive, including a barbecue grill, two flat-screen TVs, a king bed, and a full-size kitchen. However, the high cement walls surrounding the rooms affected the overall ambiance.

The staff were very professional and eager to assist in any way, which I truly appreciated. However, the claim of an ocean view was misleading as I couldn't actually see the ocean.

The location was ideal, just a minute or two from the bustling bars and restaurants at Red Hook, and it provided easy access to the ferry for St John. However, the malfunctioning air conditioner and the noisy surroundings detracted from the experience.

Dining at Molly Malone's was a delightful experience. The breakfast spread was exceptional, offering a variety of fresh fruit, English muffins, donuts, and real milk for coffee enjoyment.

The hotel's facilities were impressive, especially the proximity to Caneel Bay Resort where I got to see turtles and rays. However, the sputtering air conditioner and the noise from neighboring restaurants were noticeable drawbacks.
